First time trying this place and we loved it! All the dishes we tried (bulgogi, galbi, jap chae and bibimbap) were full of flavor and delicious. Service was great and restaurant was had good amount of seating and space. Hard to find parking in this area as expected, but worth the extra minutes driving around to find a spot!

We tried the place for the first time and order the bibimbap combo with tofu. Have to say kind surprised by the fact they serve it with raw tofu. I have my fair share of bibimbap and never seen it serve with raw tofu.. then they have the guts to charge 24 dollars for it. We will never come back and will just drive to ktown for better and cheaper food.

On Sawtelle Boulevard in Los Angeles, a street full of lines, hype, and carefully packaged “concepts,” Seoul House of Tofu doesn’t bother playing that game. It works in a different language, one of heat, repetition, and quiet certainty. Quickly, directly, and with the kind of confidence that comes from doing the same thing, the right way, for years. You sit down, and the banchan arrive. Not as decoration, but as intent. Each small dish pushes against the next, sharp kimchi, clean sesame bean sprouts, slightly sweet fish cake, soft, almost comforting potato salad. The contrast is the point. Nothing overlaps. Nothing is redundant. You taste your way across the table and realize this isn’t random, it’s calibrated. There’s care here. Real care. The kind that doesn’t announce itself but shows up in balance, in restraint, in knowing when to stop. The short ribs follow, still sizzling. We’ve come here twice now and each time has been great! The food is really good and the service is great. They do tend to get busy, so you may have to wait before getting seated. The only thing that didn’t really stand out was their spicy bbq chicken. The flavors weren’t really there and it wasn’t spicy at all. The dumplings, bulgogi, and the stone bibimbap were all amazing.
